Biography

Andrea Berenyi began taking flute lessons early, at the age of seven in Keszthely, Hungary. In her conservatory years she continued her studies as a singer – at Krisztina Czeller’s courses, and as a musician (she played the flute)- at Andrea Bertalan’s courses in Szombathely.

After finishing conservatory , she was enrolled at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music (Budapest)  as a voice major student.She  studied at first with Sándor Sólyom-Nagy, but she chose to continue her graduate studies with voice teacher Erika Sziklay.She won the Sándor Kónya scholarship in 2008.

She graduated as an opera singer and a voice teacher from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music as a student of Erika Sziklay in 2011.

She participated in the master courses of the following artists: Eva Marton, Sylvia Sass,  Nicholas Clapton, Johannes von Duisburg, Ilona Tokody, Mária Temesi, Krisztina Laki, György Vashegyi and Martina Veh.

She is an expressive performer with captivating and engaging performances and an extensive song repertoire.
